Highlighted Product
Lavender Magnesium Body Butter is back in stock in a new 8 oz. size! This is one of those products I can’t live without and neither can my mother. I massage this body butter into my arms and legs before bed. It relaxes me and soothes the symptoms of RLS (restless leg syndrome), along with a couple Magnesium supplements like this one that I take each day.

Magnesium has over 300 functions in our bodies, including
  • regulating blood pressure
  • building bones
  • regulating blood sugar
  • supporting proper nerve function
  • supporting healthy muscles (including the heart)
  • can reduce anxiety
  • promote healthy sleep
  • and may relieve migraines and headaches.
That’s a lot! Are you getting enough Magnesium every day? Most people aren’t. Make sure to eat a diet rich in Magnesium, plus take supplements when necessary. And try the Lavender Magnesium Body Butter!

Encouragement

This poem by John O’Donohue is one I’ve been reading over and over and sharing wherever I can.

Blessing for Peace by John O’Donohue (from his book Benedictus)

As the fever of day calms towards twilight
May all that is strained in us come to ease.

We pray for all who suffered violence today,
May an unexpected serenity surprise them.

For those who risk their lives each day for peace,
May their hearts glimpse providence at the heart of history.

That those who make riches from violence and war
Might hear in their dreams the cries of the lost.

That we might see through our fear of each other
A new vision to heal our fatal attraction to aggression.

That those who enjoy the privilege of peace
Might not forget their tormented brothers and sisters.

That the wolf might lie down with the lamb,
That our swords be beaten into ploughshares

And no hurt or harm be done
Anywhere along the holy mountain.

Yummy Apple Recipe

It’s apple season and I’ve been making apple crisp. This recipe in particular. (I substitute Miyoko’s vegan butter for the butter and cover the baking dish with aluminum foil for 30 minutes or so to allow the apples to soften and so they don’t dry out.)

Personal Stuff

I’m taking part in a 21-day business & marketing challenge through Leonie Dawson’s Brilliant Biz and Life Academy. Leonie teaches with her signature bold and colorful neurodivergent personality and makes things so clear for the unsure business owner. I’m in my second year in her academy and continue to learn so much from her. This 21-day challenge is making me stretch and move out of my comfort zone, which is necessary to grow, right?

Other than that, I’ve given myself a challenge to write a poem a day in October. They don’t have to be good, they don’t have to walk on their knees for a hundred miles repenting…I just have to write something down each day.

I’m working on creating new products and bringing new courses to life–I’ve had so many ideas lately. My husband always says, “You never run out of ideas.” Truth!
Ok that's it for this week, friends!
