Nourishing Our Roots Winter Journaling & Movement Class Series starts January 7th, 2025.

By the time January rolls in, many of us feel like we just need to settle down for a long Winter's nap! And that's what we want to do--rest and deeply nourish and restore ourselves.
Did you know that trees' roots grow the most during the Winter months? Above ground they appear to be asleep, but underground they are going deeper, growing stronger during this cold and quiet season.
In this class series, we will journal to discover how we might quietly tend to our own roots and connect to what nourishes us, what feeds our souls, and helps us to become more rested and calm, strong and stable.
We will also move in slower, gentler ways to restore our bodies, to feel deeply at home in ourselves, and to be better able to relax and give ourselves the deep rest we need.
- If you want to start the new year more in tune with yourself and what really replenishes your body, mind, and spirit, this course is for you.
- If you want to start or re-start a journaling or writing practice, this course is for you.
- If you want to move your body in ways that restore rather than deplete you, this course is for you.
- If you want to connect to and appreciate Nature more, this course is for you.
- If you want to practice meditation regularly this next year, this course is for you.
What to Expect:
- One LIVE Zoom Evening Circle (on Tuesdays 7-8pm EST) for connection & community each week (Introvert friendly: Be at ease--you will never be pressured to talk or share anything and we won't go into breakout rooms either. Anyone who feels like sharing can and those who would prefer to attend silently are welcome.)
- One recorded gentle movement class each week (10-30 minutes each)
- One recorded meditation class each week (5-15 minutes each)
- Journaling prompts for each week
