Highlighted Products

To celebrate, both the 10 ml WomanKind Rollers and 30 ml WomanKind Rollers are 25% off today only! (No code necessary.)

WomanKind Blend: This is my favorite blend and I use it every day. People regularly ask me what I’m wearing and tell me I smell good lol. I always let them know it’s WomanKind. With four essential oils: Lavender, Cardamom, Clary Sage, and Patchouli, it is just the right blend of floral, earthy, spicy, herbaceous yumminess.

And this blend is effective for PMS, Period, Perimenopausal, and Menopausal symptoms: it calms and relaxes, soothes irritability, relieves water retention, and can even ease cramps. You can roll it onto the neck, arms, chest, belly, low back, legs, ankles, and soles of feet. The new larger 30 ml roller is super convenient for rolling over the body.

Lotion Bars: Have you ever tried a lotion bar or solid lotion? It’s a moisturizer in a solid shape. With Shea & Mango Butters, Calendula-infused Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil & Beeswax. Short ingredient list and lots of skin benefits!

How does it work?

  1. You hold a bar in your hands and allow your body heat to begin to melt it.

  2. Glide it across your skin and massage the nourishing oils in.

  3. Store the bar in the container till next time.

Encouragement

This fun poem:

March-Mad

by May Sarton

The strangely radiant skies have come

To lift us out of winter’s gloom,

A paler more transparent blue,

A softer gold light on fresh snow.

It is a naked time that bares

Our slightly worn-down hopes and cares,

And sends us listening for frogs,

And sends us to seed catalogues

To bury our starved eyes and noses

In an extravagance of roses,

And order madly at this season

When we have had enough of reason.

Recipes

This week I’ve had the worst cold I can remember. I’ve been using Winter Wellness Blend and Breathe Clear Blend in my diffuser as well as the Breathe Clear Roller which have helped with coughing and congestion.

Here’s a similar recipe for you to try:

Cold Support Blend:

  • 3 drops of Eucalyptus radiata, Niaouli or Hyssop

  • 1 drop Bay Laurel or Cypress

  • 2 drops Black Spruce, White Spruce, Scots Pine, or Silver Fir

  • 2 drops Lemon, Bergamot, or Orange

If you need more recipes for cold support, I have a new Cold Support Herbal Tea Recipe (free) over on my Patreon this month. Alan and I have been drinking it all week. Become a free member to access.

Personal Updates:

As I said above I’ve had a cold all week, which isn’t great for business, but I have been reading a lot more!

  • I finished The Way of Integrity by Martha Beck. She weaves Dante’s allegory into her steps for finding your true self and living out of that truth. She shares part of her story of leaving Mormonism as well as coming out as gay later in life. Martha is insightful, wise, funny, and also a friend of Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Big Magic and Eat Pray Love.

  • I started Wild and Distant Seas by Tara Karr Roberts. This novel starts with an innkeeper named Evangeline, a woman with magic abilities on Nantucket Island, who meets Ishmael, a sailor, who sails off with Captain Ahab of Moby-Dick fame. It’s just getting going, so I’ll tell you more next week.

  • I’m still reading God is a Black Woman by Christena Cleveland about the Sacred Black Feminine. She shares her experiences as a Black woman living in a white patriarchal society, growing up in a Black church with white Jesus, and working in white academia, as well as her experiences of Divine love and liberation as she connects with the Black Feminine. Woven through are significant moments during her pilgrimage to visit some of the Black Madonnas in France. Can't wait to tell you more!

  • And I’m re-reading Belonging: Remembering Ourselves Home by Toko-pa Turner for the Old Soul Stories Book Club on my Substack. The first three chapters have to do with what we long for/how we want to belong, what we’ve lost, and how to return to belonging. This is one of the most significant books of the last decade for my own life. If you haven’t read it, now is a great time. And you can join my Substack as a free member to access all Book Club posts.

That’s all for this week. Have a joyful March weekend!

XO, Kim
