November Tuesday Evening Yoga Class Series is designed to soothe away stress and tension in your body and mind and bring you a sense of calm and relaxation for your evening.

With this evening class series, you will:
- Gently ease away tension with slower, steady movement
- Feel strong and grounded in standing poses
- Release tightness in hips and low back
- Relax your mind and body
Did you know your body and mind are affected by the changeable, cooler Fall weather?
In Ayurveda (the science of life), Fall is associated with Vata (air & space). Vata is always on the move, it's cold, dry, light, clear, and rough.
Do you experience any of the following?
A person with excess Vata in their body or mind:
- has a mind that just won't stop thinking & worrying
- they experience a lot of anxiety and fearfulness
- can't sit still
- have trouble sleeping
- they have irregular digestion: bloating, gas, and/or constipation
- they're usually cold
- have rough or dry skin
Ayurveda encourages us to bring ourselves into balance through food, steady daily habits, and gentle movement.
So in this soothing evening yoga class for Vata season we move more slowly and hold poses longer to encourage our energy to ground and move inward rather than scatter up and away from us.
We stabilize and strengthen so that we can be like strong trees with roots rather than like leaves blown all over in the wind.
We meet LIVE on Zoom on November Tuesday evenings 6-7pm EDT. The one remaining date for this series are: November 5, November 12, November 19, and November 26.
This class series is for you if:
- you want to feel relaxed and release tension at the end of the day
- you want to improve mobility & flexibility
- you need to calm a restless, overactive mind
- you are able to get down on the floor and stand up again
We move slowly from pose to pose, I offer variations and encourage you to only do what feels right in your body.
Props: We use and encourage props in this class series! Please have a yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks, a yoga strap or belt, a blanket, and a chair for balance. If you have a yoga bolster, that's encouraged as well.
Important: Please come to our Zoom class several minutes early to get set up and be ready to start at 6pm. I start class promptly and won't be able to let people in once I am on the mat teaching. Thanks for understanding!

Why do I do this? It gives me time to send out individual emails with the Zoom link to each student the evening before a new class series starts. This is not automated, it's done by me, one email at a time.
